We are looking for a permanent full or part time experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) who is enthusiastic and committed to providing good quality health care and who would like to join our friendly practice team.
The ANP must be able to work autonomously be prepared to do home visits, will see patients with undifferentiated diagnoses to assess, treat, prescribe and review, referring as necessary. They will also undertake a role in managing long term conditions and work within a multi-disciplinary team to prevent unplanned hospital admissions.
It is envisaged that the post-holder will expand their role in accordance with practice requirements and their own scope of practice.
The salary we offer will be dependent upon experience.

Do you have an interest in education and want to be involved in developing Primary Care at a strategic level? We have 2 opportunities 1 day a week for the next 12 months to gain experience whilst developing placements and education for non-medical learners.
This is an exciting opportunity to continue the development of the work of the Cornwall General Practice Training Hub (formally known as Community Educational Provider Network (CEPN)) and the Health Education England (HEE) Schools of Primary Care (SoPC) in delivering the HEE Mandate across the South West of England.
Working with general practices and other community health and social care provider organisations, the post holder will be key to enabling the Training Hub to develop a multi-professional workforce equipped to provide a range of quality clinical services to meet the needs of patients in the 21st century. Adopting a whole system approach to primary care education, the main responsibility of the role will be in the development of sustainable quality placements for non-medical learners, which will require a wide engagement approach to include collaboration with the SoPC GP Training programme and Higher Educational Institutes (HEI).

RMS Clinical Chair Vacancy
The Referral Management Service (RMS) is currently looking for new Clinical Chair to lead the RMS and chair the RMS Steering Committee (formerly the RMS Board). The Steering Committee is responsible for overseeing and approving best practice referral guidelines to reduce referral variability across GP practices in the RMS patch.
The RMS is currently going through a period of change and is working operationally with Kernow Health CIC to improve referral quality by focussing on education and support within primary care.
The role of Chair involves developing and communicating the RMS strategic vision and objectives in a manner to ensure maximum engagement with GP practices. An awareness of current priorities and issues affecting the NHS, both on a local and national level, is essential to ensure the RMS strategy is aligned with wider CCG priorities. The role will also involve working closely with the Assistant General Manager and the Operational Clinical Lead to ensure the effective management of the RMS clinical team.
The successful candidate will need to be able to attend the RMS Steering Committee meetings which are held on the last Friday of the month. They will also have flexibility to represent the RMS at other internal and external meetings.
